S&S Friendly Ranch is a black-owned and operated neighborhood ranch in San Diego, CA. As a hub for education and innovation, we promote regenerative land stewardship, operate an animal sanctuary, and host events for mutual healing, cultivating harmonious kinship between humans and the land.
We are a premiere venue and agricultural host in the Tijuana River Valley for events and local partnerships that foster an environment of learning, financial empowerment, and collective work.

Frank Buncom III
Co-Owner S & S Friendly Ranch, LLC
Frank Buncom III is a Co-Owner of S&S Friendly Ranch and leads the day-to-day operations of the ranch for events and services. A direct descendant of founder Sarah Buncom, Frank carries forward the legacy of stewardship, care, and community that the land was built on, ensuring the ranch remains a grounded, welcoming space for gathering, learning, and collective work.
Jazzay Buncom & Lucie Cishugi

We’re honored to host Azili’s Herbal & Land-Based Workshops with Jazzay H’Armani Buncom and Lucie Cishugi at S&S Friendly Ranch. Jazzay brings holistic wellness, regenerative farming, and ancestral herbal wisdom rooted in cultural care, while Lucie blends earth stewardship, creative ritual, and plant-based healing. Together, they offer immersive experiences that deepen connection to land, lineage, and community wellness.
